In 2007 the  company’s product was authenticated as a high quality product by Standard Organization of  Nigeria and received a (MANCAP)  Mandatory Conformity Assessment Certificate Programme Award for quality, and by this the company is authorized to put Nigerian sign of quality NIS (Nigeria industrial  standard on its product (Camela Veg. Oil) Cert. No. FT – 697.

The Chairman board of Directors of Camela Vegetable Oil Co. Ltd Chief Okey Ikoro announced the companies intention to go into a major expansion which will involve

 

a.     100MT/day fractionation plant

b.     3 – 5MT/day Soap production plant for laundry and toilet soap.

c.     Establishment of a 2000 hectares oil palm plantation.
