Chief Okey Ikoro has had considerable experience in Project Development, Engineering Management, Production and Marketing. He may be considered as one of the most experienced oil miller in Nigeria, with Camela Vegetable Oil Company Limited as the foremost Vegetable Oil Processing Company in Nigeria and the only of such Company in Imo State up to January,2008.

As a consultant and expert in oil milling and related issues he handled the establishment of various business and Agro Allied Companies within and outside Imo State, some of which include:

• VICRO AGRO OIL MILL LTD, Okoh Anambra State.
• MAZON AGRO INDUSTRIES LTD, Naze Owerri, Imo State.
• BRO KENN AGRO ALLIED IND. LTD, Owerri Imo State.

In addition to occupying the position of Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Camela Vegetable Oil Co. Ltd, Chief Okey Ikoro, similarly hold sway in other companies as well as in other responsible and respectable position in the corporate world. Thus he occupies the following positions.

In recognition of his immense contribution in the sphere of Commerce, economics, industrial development and overall socio-economic and political development of Imo State, he has won and merited many awards, some of which include the following:

Chief Okey was a member of the Imo State Economic Summit Group that drafted the
Economic and industrial blue print for the state.


Chief Okey Ikoro, JP is widely traveled and has attended several Foreign Trade missions, exhibitions and trade fairs. He is married to Dr. Mrs. Ego Ikoro and they have 4 children.
